Bringing back a tradition which has not been celebrated in years, MYP and high school students at MQS gathered together for an afternoon fondly known as Field Day. Splitting across the field, sections competed against each other in A and B teams, playing games such as tug a war, flag football and the balloon walk.

In preparation for the event, safe guardians Miss Rebekah and Mr. Alex talked with the students at weekly assembly on the topic of good teamwork. Students were encouraged to build classmates up, learning cheers from teachers and congratulating each other on their victories. Looking back at the competition day, students throughout the MYP grades all concluded that the festivities were not only great fun but also truly helped them to remember the importance of working together as a team.
