As the culmination of their first semester studies, Ms. Solin’s Business and Economics class hosted a Business Fair. Students created their own businesses, applying the skills and concepts they have been learning over the past few months. Their creative abilities were on full display as they designed business plans, marketing materials, and products that appealed to their customers. Putting classroom principles into action gave students from MYP4, MYP5, HS1, and HS2 the opportunity to gain real-world experience.

In the MQIS courtyard, they set up their storefronts and competed to earn the highest profit. The competition for customers was stiff, as each shop offered a wide variety of food and other items. They even had the chance to learn about the impact of quality customer service on a business’s success.

The Business Fair was a hit among parents, teachers, and their classmates! Yet another opportunity at MQIS for students to gain impactful educational experiences.
