Our academic interventions and support classes align with the core principles of IB education, where the student is at the center of the learning process. In keeping with this philosophy, our interventions are personalized to each child’s unique learning needs, ensuring that every student receives the appropriate support to thrive academically. By starting the process early—around the fourth week of school—we ensure that no student is left behind, creating an inclusive environment where all learners are empowered to succeed.

We continuously monitor students’ progress, with a focus on helping them take ownership of their learning. Regular meetings with parents play a vital role in this approach, where we collaboratively set clear, realistic goals for the child, fostering a supportive partnership between home and school. After each intervention cycle, we reassess the students to celebrate their progress and adjust the support plan as needed, always aiming to build on their strengths and address areas of challenge.

This ongoing process of assessment, reflection, and adaptation is key to the IB philosophy of developing lifelong learners. Our interventions don’t just focus on immediate academic outcomes but also on fostering self-confidence, resilience, and a deeper understanding of their own learning journey. Through this student-centered approach, we aim to equip each child with the skills they need to become independent, confident learners, fully prepared for the challenges ahead.

We offer diverse and designed sessions to address the individual learning needs of each student. We provide a variety of session types, including:

  1. One-on-One Tutoring: For students who require focused attention, individual sessions allow teachers to address specific areas of difficulty, working closely with the student to reinforce core concepts and skills.
  2. Small Group Sessions: These sessions allow students with similar learning needs to collaborate, providing opportunities for peer interaction while receiving targeted support in areas like math, reading, or writing. The small group setting encourages active participation and tailored instruction.
  3. Skill-Specific Workshops: These workshops are designed to help students strengthen specific skills, such as reading comprehension, problem-solving in math, or language development. The workshops are hands-on and focus on applying skills through practice activities.
  4. Remedial Support: For students who may need additional reinforcement of key concepts, remedial sessions revisit earlier lessons to ensure mastery of foundational knowledge before progressing to more complex topics.
  5. Homework and Study Support: For students struggling with organization or study habits, we offer sessions aimed at developing better study techniques, time management, and approaches to completing homework effectively.
