On October first, the Feast of All Saints, Miss Lizzie and Miss Anna (our MYP and HS religion teachers) co-organized and directed a fantastic All Saints’ Day exhibition for MQIS parents. Celebrations started with all students arriving at school in their costumes and participating in assembly. MYP and HS students then prepared themselves for the exhibition which occurred later in the day.

Our students absolutely loved dressing up as and sharing stories about their favorite saints!

Family members were invited to come and listen to the students share stories about their saints. Students’ saints ranged from the Gospel writers, such as St. Luke, to contemporary saints, such as Mother Teresa. Ms. Lizzie and Ms. Anna were both extremely proud of how well their students prepared for this event – as Ms. Anna said, “…they all showed great effort in imitating their saints for the exhibition.”

The exhibition was exciting for students and parents alike!

After the exhibition, students, staff, and family members all enjoyed refreshments and community outdoors in front of Mar Qardarkh. The day was truly blessed!
